Wills Point Depot

The Wills Point Depot was built in 1927. It houses a historical museum that has a collection of artifacts, documents, and photos from the city’s old businesses, institutions, households, agricultural and railroad industries. The museum is maintained and operated by Wills Point Historical Society.

The Van Zandt County Master Gardeners revamped the gardens in 2012 and have since maintained the area featuring a large concrete birdbath with cannas, ferns, nandina and weigelia lining the side wall. Running along the railroad fence is turks cap, daylilies, iris, yellow jasmine, crape myrtle and rose bushes.
